OCRA’s STYLE LAB to Hit Manhattan This Fall
For 20 years, Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) hosted the legendary Super Saturday, an all-day charity shopping event in the Hamptons, dubbed the “Rolls-Royce of garage sales” by The New York Times. Super Saturday attracted thousands of designers, celebrities, editors, media influencers, bargain lovers, and families for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience raising millions of dollars for OCRA’s research and support programs to find a cure for ovarian cancer.
We are excited to introduce the next generation of Super Saturday, OCRA’s STYLE LAB – a mix of shopping, experiences, music and entertainment. STYLE LAB will continue to feature all the elements that made Super Saturday so iconic but with a few surprises for what promises to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. OCRA’s STYLE LAB will kick-off the holiday shopping season on Wednesday, November 6th at Gotham Hall, in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Featuring a high-profile DJ to keep the party-like vibe; celebrity hosts, top social media influencers, notable guests and a live musical performance that will bring the house down. STYLE LAB will have something for everyone.
Shopping is the heart and soul of OCRA’s STYLE LAB. Just in time for the holidays, guests can purchase great gifts and something for themselves from donated merchandise marked down 30-50%. Select designers and brands will be prominently featured onsite while many other brands will be accessible from shopping kiosks set up throughout the venue. The virtual shopping will extend beyond the event and will be promoted online nationally so anyone can shop and purchase merchandise to benefit OCRA. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind pieces from SHOP MY CLOSET, featuring exclusive items donated by celebrities and highly desired brands, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting OCRA.
